Recruiter Terms of Business

These terms apply to recruitment agencies, and the people who work for them, who register as recruiters on IT Leaders Network. They sit alongside our terms of use, which apply to everyone. "We" means IT Leaders Network. "You" means you and the agency you work for.

Your account and your agency

• Register with your own work email address. We don't accept free email services such as Gmail or Outlook.com.
• The first person from your agency to confirm an email address at its domain runs the agency's account. Colleagues who register with the same domain ask to join, and that person accepts or declines them. They can also remove people who leave.
• You're responsible for what happens on your account, and your agency is responsible for its recruiters' use of the site.
• Recruiters can't see or post in the members' forum.

Posting jobs

Every job you post must:

• be a real, current vacancy that you've been asked to fill;
• be a senior technology role, of the kind our members hold or are looking for;
• describe the role, its location and its pay accurately, and link to a page or email address of your own where people can apply;
• follow the law on advertising jobs, including the Equality Act 2010 and the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003.

Don't use job posts, or anything else on the site, to collect people's details for any other purpose, or to advertise anything other than the job.

Checking and removing jobs

We may check each job before members see it, and we can turn down or remove any job that breaks these terms, telling you why. Jobs posted free close at the end of their closing date, or 90 days after they go live, whichever comes first. We email you a week before. You can mark a job filled or closed at any time.

Fees

Posting jobs is free at the moment. We'll email you at least 30 days before we start charging, with the price and what it means for jobs you've already posted. When we do charge:

• you pay when you post each job, by card, through our payment provider;
• prices are shown in pounds sterling. We're not registered for VAT, so no VAT is added;
• if we turn a job down before it goes live, we refund it in full;
• if we remove a job because it breaks these terms, we don't refund it.

Members' details

Don't contact members for recruitment unless they've asked you to, and don't copy members' details from the site. If someone applies to one of your jobs, you handle their details under your own privacy notice.

Our responsibility

We don't promise that any job will get applications or that the site will always be available. We provide the site as it is. We're not liable for any loss of business, profit or opportunity. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law doesn't allow it to be limited.

Ending

You can close your account at any time from your account page. We can suspend or close an account, and take down its jobs, if it breaks these terms. Questions? Email [email protected].

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and we'll email recruiters about significant changes.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts deal with any disputes.
