Community guidelines
Last updated 28/09/2026
The forum works because members can speak candidly. These guidelines keep it that way.
Talk like a peer
- Disagree with ideas, not people. No personal attacks, harassment or discrimination.
- Assume good faith. Everyone here is doing a hard job.
- Share what you know, including what went wrong. Those are often the most useful posts.
What stays in the room
- Don't share members' posts, names or details outside the site without their permission.
- Don't post your employer's confidential information, or anyone else's.
- Don't name individuals in a way that could damage them. Talk about situations, not people.
No selling
- No sales pitches, marketing or unsolicited recruitment, in posts or private contact.
- If you work for or with a vendor you're discussing, say so.
- Asking for recommendations is fine. Answering with your own product isn't.
If something's wrong
Use the report link on the post. Moderators review every report, and can edit, move or remove posts and lock threads. Repeated or serious breaches can lead to an account being suspended.
